A pressure switch monitors the pressure of liquid or gaseous media using a preset setpoint (SP). Once the set value is reached, the electrical circuit opens or closes. When the pressure drops below the setpoint, the pressure switch switches back. Due to hysteresis, a small switching delay occurs. This hysteresis is fixed and can be found in the technical documentation. A pressure switch requires a control signal and can be actuated by electrical voltage or compressed air. Available in aluminium, FKM, plastic, brass, stainless steel and steel. More than 500 pressure switches are available from stock on a daily basis.
